Details of the upcoming sleepover and trip into London to play a version of Monopoly are now in the camps section – please read and action!!

A neighbouring scout county has organised a “Ski taster day” in November for anyone interested in skiing (new or experienced).

All the information that you need is in the newsletters section – places are only £10 for a 2 hour session – exceptional value!!

Information for Day Prowl is now available in the newsletters section.

You will need a one day activity form – which you can either collect from me on Friday or download from the Forms section.

If you haven’t signed up and still want to take part – just email me ASAP – we can enter more teams!!

Instead of the camp we had planned for next weekend – we will be having our usual Friday meeting and the having a scout skills day at the HQ – for exact details check your emails (if you haven’t received one – tell me and I’ll add you to my distribution list).

Also, for those that are unsure what Day Prowl is – it is a day long hiking competition where the scouts work in teams of 4-7 following a pre-planned route to set bases and then at each base they complete challenges to earn extra points. The whole day is a great experience and great fun!!

I urgently need all scout parents to email me and tell me if their scout is planning to take part in this exciting competition hike on Sunday 6th October!!
