Fund raising quiz at Hampton Social Club

As mentioned at the AGM we are the beneficiaries of a fund raising quiz night to be held at Hampton Social Club on Friday 28th August – 8pm for an 8.30pm start. Teams of maximum 5 adults, £5 entry per team. Quiz finishes at 10.30pm.

There will also be a raffle.

Please contact Nigel to let him know if you are coming and if you are able to donate some raffle prizes.

It would be great to have lots of teams there so we can raise lots of money for the kitchen redevelopment.

Family Camp 2016 – get your diaries out….

Family Camp 2015

Everyone should by now had time to recover from a fantastic weekend at Chalfont Heights. 27 families, 107 campers, 12 Leaders and PULSE members in the “Service Crew” all had a fun, if tiring weekend in the sun (mostly!)

Photos are trickling through – but would be great to get more, those sent to date are on Flickr and a few below.

We need everyone of you to take action and get everyone you know to register and vote – try and get at least one person you meet every day this month to use their 10 votes for our project – that way we should be able to reach the finals and have a good chance of winning an award.

Remember there is no cost to vote – just a few mouse clicks, also voting does not, according to the terms and conditions, restrict the voting to adults only – the scouts etc can vote as long as they have an email address.

Sainsbury Active Kids vouchers

Please remember to bring your vouchers in and put them in the box – the scheme finishes in early May – make sure you get them in ASAP as we have a limited amount of time to count them and order the equipment – don’t leave them on the shelf!!

Scout camps

The scouts have just enjoyed 4 days at Chalfont Heights and cooked every meal on an open fire – as well as enjoying many activities such as crate stacking and archery.
