Also, still time to join in the fun planned for our annual Family Camp in June – so far there are over 30 families signed up for a fun filled weekend – if you haven’t booked in yet – check out the details in the camps section and get your booking in to Nigel.

Don’t forget that we have two important fund raisers coming up in March.

First we have the quiz night on Saturday 14th March – please bring along a team, have a fun evening and help us raise some funds for the group. Please let us know beforehand if you are going to come along – so we can make sure we have enough seats etc.

Then we have the Jumble Sale on Saturday 28th March. The Jumble Sales are our main money raisers – please come and help us on the day and sorting jumble in the week before. Without the money raised from the two jumbles each year subs would have to increase very substantially.

Also, we have our usual Jumble Sale on Saturday 28th March – put the date in your diary – always bargains to be had. The Jumble is always well supported, this year we have people coming over from France and down from Yorkshire in order to grab a bargain!!

Let us know if you are travelling far to come and enjoy our fantastic Jumble.

It’s that time of year again. The voucher scheme starts this week!!

Please get all your family and friends to collect Active Kids vouchers from Sainsburys – we can get lots of free stuff if you bring them in to us over the next few months.  With a smaller membership please bring them to us instead of school as the schools have hundreds to collect from – we have much less!!

The revised schedule re scout camps is now available in the camps section – note the new shortened Easter Camp (8th-11th April). Please get your bookings in ASAP.

Still also taking bookings for Family Camp in June!! Over 90 people already attending for a fun packed weekend, activities booked include Crate Stacking, Pedal Cars, Climbing, High Ropes Course, Archery and Adventure Course, along with other team games, scout craft, camp fire etc.
