Also, we have our usual Jumble Sale on Saturday 28th March – put the date in your diary – always bargains to be had. The Jumble is always well supported, this year we have people coming over from France and down from Yorkshire in order to grab a bargain!!

Let us know if you are travelling far to come and enjoy our fantastic Jumble.

It’s that time of year again. The voucher scheme starts this week!!

Please get all your family and friends to collect Active Kids vouchers from Sainsburys – we can get lots of free stuff if you bring them in to us over the next few months.  With a smaller membership please bring them to us instead of school as the schools have hundreds to collect from – we have much less!!

The revised schedule re scout camps is now available in the camps section – note the new shortened Easter Camp (8th-11th April). Please get your bookings in ASAP.

Still also taking bookings for Family Camp in June!! Over 90 people already attending for a fun packed weekend, activities booked include Crate Stacking, Pedal Cars, Climbing, High Ropes Course, Archery and Adventure Course, along with other team games, scout craft, camp fire etc.

Booking form for Family camp is in the camps section – the more the merrier!!

Please come and support the group, have some fun and help us raise funds. The posters have been up for a while in the HQ, but in case you’ve missed them here are the details.

Can I remind you all to get your places booked for Family Camp by the end of November as I need to firm up arrangements at the camp site.

A big thank you to everyone that took part in the parade and came to support the group as they paraded. The weather was very kind to us – especially after all the wind and rain we had yesterday. We had over 55 beavers, cubs and scouts on show!

3rd Hampton Scout Group will be participating in the Remembrance Day parade and service on Sunday, 9th November, in Hampton.

All our members are expected to take part in this important event. Please refer to your own section’s newsletter or reminder letter for the full details.

After the parade we will also be taking a group photo (like last year) and if there are any parents with “photographic tendencies” we would love someone to take some photos with a quality camera!! Please let your section leader know if you can help.
